1. Quick start

1. Open GlideCue and paste or type your script.
2. Open Settings and choose Fixed speed or Voice follow.
3. Tap Start Teleprompter, then tap Play.
4. Tap the Picture in Picture button to keep the script visible above other apps.
5. Open Apple’s Camera or another recording app and position the floating window near the camera.

2. Permissions

Microphone

Used only while Voice Follow is actively listening, including while the teleprompter is in Picture in Picture. GlideCue does not save or upload audio.

Speech recognition

Used to match your spoken position with the script. GlideCue requires recognition that runs on your device and does not save or upload recognized words.

Motion

Used while the floating teleprompter is active to keep its content upright when the iPhone rotates. Motion information is not saved or uploaded.

3. Voice Follow is unavailable

• Open iOS Settings and confirm that GlideCue has Microphone and Speech Recognition access.
• Make sure the selected script language matches the language you are speaking.
• Pause and resume playback after an interruption.
• If the camera or another app is using the microphone, return to GlideCue and restart playback after recording ends.
• Voice Follow requires on-device speech recognition. If your device or selected language does not support it, choose Fixed speed in GlideCue Settings.

GlideCue does not silently switch Voice Follow to Fixed speed. Your chosen scrolling mode remains visible and under your control.

4. Picture in Picture

If the floating window does not appear, confirm that Picture in Picture is allowed in iOS Settings, start playback in GlideCue, and tap the Picture in Picture button again. iOS controls the floating window’s available size. Pinch the real floating window to resize it.

5. Scripts and deletion

Scripts and settings are stored locally on the iPhone. Open Saved Notes to rename or delete a saved script. Deleting the app removes GlideCue’s local app container; device backups may follow separate Apple and iOS settings.

2. 权限说明

语音识别

用于匹配你在稿件中的朗读位置。GlideCue 必须使用设备端识别，不保存或上传识别文字。

运动信息

在悬浮提词器运行时使用，用于在 iPhone 旋转后保持内容方向正确。运动信息不会保存或上传。

3. 语音跟读不可用

• 打开 iOS 设置，确认 GlideCue 已获得麦克风和语音识别权限。
• 确认所选稿件语言与你实际朗读的语言一致。
• 发生系统中断后，尝试暂停并重新播放。
• 如果相机或其他 App 正在使用麦克风，结束录像后返回 GlideCue 并重新播放。
• 语音跟读依赖端侧语音识别。如果设备或所选语言不支持，请在 GlideCue 设置中改用定速滚动。

GlideCue 不会悄悄把语音跟读切换为定速滚动。滚动模式始终保持可见，并由你决定。

4. 画中画

如果悬浮窗没有出现，请确认 iOS 设置允许画中画，在 GlideCue 中开始播放，然后再次点击画中画按钮。悬浮窗可用尺寸由 iOS 控制，可以在真实悬浮窗上双指缩放。

5. 稿件与删除

稿件和设置保存在 iPhone 本地。打开“已存文稿”可以重命名或删除稿件。删除 App 会移除 GlideCue 的本地 App 容器；设备备份可能适用 Apple 和 iOS 的其他设置。
